When leaving your site temporarily, leave something to show that it is occupied. Sites improperly marked will return to a ‘first come first served’ status.
No clotheslines are allowed. Attaching objects to trees or plant life is prohibited.
Grills are not furnished but you are welcome to bring a propane or charcoal grill. Please do not put grills on campground picnic tables.
Please bag your garbage and place in the containers provided. Bags provided at the office if needed. Only household generated garbage should be placed in the containers.
We encourage recycling. Please place glass, plastic and cans in the recycle bins.
Trespassing on sites or adjoining property is prohibited.
Fires: Open fires are permitted in fire ring only. Fire rings are not to be moved. All fires should be kept small so that the heat does not damage the above and surrounding foliage. Fires are the responsibility of the campers and should be completely extinguished prior to the user leaving the campsite. Absolutely no burning of garbage. Any local, state or federal government regulations shall supersede campground regulations.
For your health and safety, all buildings are smoke free. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground or in fire rings.
Political flags and/or signs, other than the US flag, are not to be displayed or seen from outside.

Check in is at 1:00 pm.
Checkout is at 11:00 am.
Maximum stay is 3 months.
There will be a $5.00 per night per guest charge.
Guests must check in at the office and obtain a guest pass. Parking on the grass or other sites is prohibited.
You are responsible for your guests knowing and abiding by all rules and regulations. Guests not abiding by the rules will be asked to leave immediately.
All vehicles must follow the speed limit for Mountain View Campground (5 mph).
One car per site permitted. Do not park on empty sites.
Cars and RV’s may not be washed or repaired in the campground.
Many sites are provided with 50 amps so no generators are to be running, unless there is a power outage.
We are animal lovers, very fond of pets and appreciate the fact that people recognize their pets to be an integral part of their family.
To prevent injury to your pets please keep them on a leash at all times.
You must clean up after your pet. Place droppings in a plastic bag and put in the trash bin. Do not place in fire ring.
Do not tie pets to trees or leave them unattended.
Pets are not permitted in the office, restrooms or the music barn.
Keep pets inside and quiet at night.
Absolutely no aggressive behavior will be tolerated. If your pet is creating a problem, the management will require that the owner take appropriate action.
Please be considerate of other campers by observing quiet hours (10:00 pm to 9:00 am). Children must be accompanied by an adult after 10:00 pm.
Alcoholic beverages are to be consumed by adults 21 years of age only. No alcoholic beverages are permitted in or around the office, restrooms or music barn. No drunkenness or profanity will be tolerated. Those offending will be evicted from the campground.
Anyone using illicit substances will be asked to leave the campground immediately.
The entrance to Mountain View Campground is monitored by video and audio surveillance. Management resides on the property and strictly monitors and enforces campground rules and regulations. Local law enforcement also routinely drives through the campground. Please notify management of any security concerns.
Report any emergencies, issues or complaints to the campground attendant. When attendant is unavailable, or in extreme emergencies, contact the Sheriff’s Department (706-896-4444) or call 911.
The facilities of Mountain View Campground are available for renters and their guests. All persons using these facilities do so at their own risk. The management or owners will not be responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of property by fire, theft, wind, or any unforeseen acts beyond their control.
Payment: All major credit cards are accepted. We do not accept checks.
All advanced reservations require a deposit of 50% of the total balance due, based on current year rates.
If you cancel within 48 hours before your scheduled arrival, your deposit will be forfeited.
Occasionally, bad weather may prevent you from accessing the campground. Should this occur, staff will attempt to contact you within 24 hours of your reservation to rebook or refund your security deposit.
When the temperature drops to 32 degrees it is your responsibility to disconnect the water hose from the spigot and turn off the water until the temperature is no longer freezing. You will be responsibility for all charges to repair the damage if this is not done.
If you choose to weatherproof the spigot and use a heated water hose and freezing still occurs, you will be responsible for all expenses to repair the damage.
The laundry room and bath house will be closed and winterized during the winter.
